Imagine that, for the first time in my entire life, being able to recognize Steve Ballmer on sight, was useful.

Yeah, I suspect that I might have a touch of the "high functioning" spectrum disorder. My whole life whenever I developed an interest in things, I'd dive into the deep end of the pool, and eat, breath, and sleep whatever my new passion was .....and basically drive my friends nuts with focused minutia.

And basically wear it out until I got bored with it, and then go onto the next.

So, a lot of the hardware related stuff in the quiz was fairly dated....stuff I obsessed over 20-25 years ago when PCs were my passion.

If the quiz had been more focused on current hardware, I doubt I would have done nearly as good.

Quiz was a fun trip down memory lane.

Most people, I suspect, are unwilling to invest that amount of time into something that really offers no reward? After they are 15 minutes into it and still have 120 questions to go, it starts feeling like more of a "chore"? And they just say skrewit.

The questions about the old geezers (Berners-Lee, Noyce...etc) were interesting because it had been so long since I read any of that.....really had to think about which was which....I missed the one that had Turing as a choice....I never had heard of the guy who was the correct answer for that one.
