With the unceremonious ends of “Full Frontal” and “Desus & Mero," it's clear that late-night TV, which proliferated rapidly during the Donald Trump years as cable networks and streaming services raced to tap into an appetite for fresh satirical voices, is in a moment (https://www.rep-am.com/life-arts/entertainment/2022/07/29/commentary-are-we-facing-a-late-night-tv-recession/) of contraction.

Regarding the paragraph near the end of your linked story that includes the verbiage "yet another sign that progress, which once seemed secure, is now being rolled back "

Why are so called "progressives" unwilling to acknowledge that there is a pendulum that swings, both ways?

Diversity cannot exclusively be "left left left".

The LA Times headline read:

The late-night 'recession' is here. And it will hit underrepresented voices hardest

Really? Which one of the show hosts were conservative?
