Anyone have or know of anyone with episodes of 'Tycoon'? Apparently this Walter Brennan show ran for a short season between 'The Real McCoys' & Guns Of Will Sonnett. Any help appreciated.

Gil Lamont 11-04-2006, 10:06 AM hmmm never heard of it anyone??? anyone?? bueller? Bob's TV Treasures 11-04-2006, 11:17 AM THE TYCOON is one of my most-wanted sitcoms. If ever you find one, I'm instantly interested. I haven't seen it on ANYONE'S "HAVE LIST." Very odd for a show from 1964. It ran on ABC for one season. All I have of it is an ABC promo. Also VERY MUCH in demand from that same year are HARRIS AGAINST THE WORLD with Jack Klugman, and TOM, DICK AND MARY (these two part of the 90 BRISTOL COURT triumverate). Lamont 11-04-2006, 09:40 PM hmmmm all great shows i wish i could find! gilligan fanatic 11-13-2006, 10:02 PM I am suprised about this one being "lost". A bunch of '64 Sitcoms seem to be missing. Kentucky Jones is another one I can't find. Preety sure that is a western though. Hazel Anyday 11-14-2006, 12:16 PM I've heard of Tycoon, but I'm so old I probably watched it as a kid. I think it was similar to the Millionaire show, where a rich old guy gives away his money to people who deserve it. I THINK. I'm not sure. Hazel Anyday 11-15-2006, 02:28 PM From the descriptions in that episode guide, sounds like it was a good show. I wish I could only see it now. Sounds like Walter's character was sort of like the one he played in Real McCoys. Also sounds like my memory of it being like the Millionaire show was wrong. Now, where to find it? |
