Has anyone else noticed that in episodes directed by R. Robert Rosenbaum, Samantha and Darrin tend to be "kissier" and more romantic in them? Perhaps it was just Rosenbaum's directing style, or maybe because William Asher wasn't there, but Liz and Dick (York) seem more relaxed around each other in them. Especially in the later Dick York seasons when Darrin as a character started being written as meaner, Rosenbaum's episodes stand out with Darrin being nicer again, and the Stephenses have the more romantic rapport that they had circa season 2 (the first episode Rosenbaum directed was "Divided He Falls.") If it's an episode where they fight, York as Darrin does this kind of mumbly thing while making up with Samantha that's rather cute in its realism in the portrayal of a married couple.
