The show features Gabe Kaplan who is know for his 1970's sitcom Welcome Back Kotter

The character who played Little Ear on What's Happening was a character on the show

The characters Freddie Boom Boom and Epstein from Welcome Back Kotter appeared in episode 5

The guy who played Clark on the show was also the Deputy on the 1970's Sitcom Carter Country

The show was part of the Thursday Night Primetime lineup featuring Harper Valley at 8pm, Lewis and Clark at 830pm, Different Strokes at 9pm and Gimme a Break at 930pm.
