Remember the scene from the pitch when George is trying to explain "nothing" to Russell?
RUSSELL: I got up and came to work.

GEORGE: There's a show. That's a show.

What if they actually made a show about Russell actually going to work? Who knows what these people could have come up with.

LOL... they could have had an episode revolving around Russell, his secretary, his office, his bathroom breaks and lunch at Pfeifer's getting his pasta primavera! Then they show him at his luxury apartment with Cynthia, having dinner.

I think Julia/Elaine would have been hilarious, if she had been cast getting up (dog barking) then taking the train, having coffee spilled on her etc on her way to work.

Sure, they could have done a lot more everyday things. I'm not sure how funny they would have been though.

A lot of people thought that way...On paper these everyday things don't seem funny, but when staged they really work.
