Throughout rap history, it’s crazy seeing the insane endorsement deals and sponsorship rappers have been a part of. I mean to name a few we got Travis Scott being with McDonald’s, Jay-Z being with Reebok back in the day around 2003, Drake being with sprite, etc.
Not all the rappers in the late 80s and early 90s could get endorsement deals like that. It ended up being a malt liquor company that really gave these people a lot of exposure on tv and/or through the radio.
