In honor of the Tammy sitcom Ideal Toys created the Tammy doll which used the slogan "the doll you love to dress" At first glance the Tammy doll seemed like competition for Barbie but Tammy was an amazing doll that had many different outfits. For fans of the Tammy sitcom Tammy dolls are really sought after and if you have a complete Tammy doll collection and outfits you have some amazing sitcom merchandise. I didn't even know that the Tammy doll was inspired by this sitcom until I read about it in a doll collector book
