Actually, JOANIE LOVES CHACHI ran for two short seasons. It's included in the book. The first season of the show was a very short trial run that did well enough to warrant a second season. In that second season, the ratings plummeted.

The book has been released, and is available from McFarlandPub.com, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, etc.

Crime Story was a cop show set in the 60s.

I'm very excited to purchase this book as soon as I can. There were many one season 80s sitcoms that need to be remembered and this book is a great way!

My favorite one season show was Square Pegs, which is probably the most famous one season show of the 80's.

I need to get this book as well, I am sure some forgotten about classic Fox shows are mentioned in this book and I know Homeroom from ABC is listed.

Anyone remember a sitcom by the name of Spencer? it starred Chad Lowe who was later replaced by another kid which is a shock seeing the main character on your show getting replaced all of a sudden.

Here's the pilot episode. I believe that the rest of the Chad Lowe episodes are on YouTube as well. I watched them all a while back.

The 90s version of the book is coming later this year!!!!! Well over 300 short-lived sitcoms.

First one I thought of was Tim Reid's excellent, "Frank's Place" (1987-1988). That one really deserved better.
