Actually, JOANIE LOVES CHACHI ran for two short seasons. It's included in the book. The first season of the show was a very short trial run that did well enough to warrant a second season. In that second season, the ratings plummeted.

The 90s version of the book is coming later this year!!!!! Well over 300 short-lived sitcoms.

First one I thought of was Tim Reid's excellent, "Frank's Place" (1987-1988). That one really deserved better.
