Okay, so we have a topic about moms, but what about dads? Do you like your dad, hate him, not know who he is, etc.?

My dad is one of the sweetest men in the world, but NO ONE can bug me like him. He's SO critical of me it drives me nuts.

i dont know. i guess. i prefer my mom.

Yes,I get along sooooooooooooooooooooooo much better with my dad than I do with my mom.

My dad is an AWFUL father! He makes me go in laundry baskets and he...gives me too much vodka...and...o wait...that's daddy Jeff...heh. JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFF!!

My BIRTH father and I get along pretty well. He's really nice. We fight a lot...but...we when bond...we're good. Yup yup. I LUV my daddy!!!

My dad was one of the craziest men I've ever met. Everything was a joke to him...he was so funny. Out of all five of us kids, I always thought he was too hard on me...expected too much, but I loved him a lot. I always thought he loved my younger sister more than me because he let her get by with a lot, but he always said I made him proud. He passed away two years ago, and he was sick for a long time before that. When he was ill, I used to sit on his bed and watch TV with him. Now that he is gone, I miss that. I miss him!

I can't stand my dad, never had and never will. I hate him wth a passion. He's not a very nice person at all, and I can't see how people can stand him. If I never see him again, that would make my life a lot better.

Love my Dad...closer to him than my mother.

I don't really like my dad. He's really annoying and he makes me mad a lot. Compared to my mother, I hate him!

I love my dad. He is one of the best guys in the world. We get along great. He is so protective of me. I guess because I am his last daughter left at home and when I leave it will only be him and mom.

Let's just say I get along better with my mom. It seems that lately me and dad are just arguing and bickering more than usual. I love him, but it just seems that I'm closer with mom than to my dad.

I don't know who my father is. Oh, wait, I forgot......I live with him.

But I still don't know who he his. I don't talk to him, he doesn't talk to me. When I was little, I thought I knew him. We were always together. But he has turned his back on me.

I mean I love him and all but I need my mom most of the time. If I'm upset I go to mom, need HW help I go to mom, If I'm sick at school but can't come home I'll call my mom at lunch, if I'm away and homesick I want my mom. I just prefer my mom.

I hate him with a passion, as someone already stated. He's the worst person I have ever came in contact with in my life and I will be rejoicing this time next year.

My mom raised me. I don't like my dad, but he says he's gonna buy me a car so that's cool.

My dad is okay. He can be a complete jerk one minute and then the next minute he is the funnest person to be around. I dont associate with my father very much. I'll say hi to him when he comes home from work and thats it. Then I lock myself up in my room and talk to all of you wonderful people. But i do love my dad. The thing with my dad is that he conditions everything. Its like for everything you do wrong, the less love he feels for you. Its hard but I cope.

Im surprised everyone feels that way about their Dads...I feel like that mor towards my Mother...its weird..I call my father DAD and my mother MOTHER. I feel tons closer to my Dad

I don't talk to my dad he was in my life until I was about 5. He just vanished because he didn't want to pay child support. Then when I was 14 the child support people found him. He then decided he wanted to see me. So I agreed, so we met this one time he bought me all these gifts. And that was the last time I saw him. I wrote him letters after that but he never wrote back. Bastard!!

My dad is a real sweetheart a lot of the time... but DON'T get him mad. :D

And if something is wrong with the computer, it's NEVER his fault. It's always mine or my sister's. And he messes up the house and then tells us to clean it... again.

But most of the time he's a sweetie.

I hate him so MUCH!! damn I hate him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has ruined my life and destroyed my future and my past all he does is torture me, it got so bad my mom split up with him. He said the wrong thing to me and was going crazy on me so I beat him up and he has like 10 cuts now (I did this 4 months ago) it left tons of scars and bruises and if I could do it all over again I would! If you guys knew what he has done to me you would agree it was the right thing to do.

I love my Dad. He's awesome. I said s*hit in front of him and he sorta laughed at me. I told him to kiss it and he looked at me like you better take that back and I go sorry Dad. See, I like my dad. He's nicer and easier to get along with than my mom. She yells alot and thats the problem me and my mom have. But I still love them. My dad is more easy going and doesnt worry near as much as my mom but I like them both the same but for differrent reasons. :D

I love both parents very much. I don't know what i'd do without them either.

I don't hate my father but I'm not particularly fond of him either.
He's an alcoholic and, although he's stuck by my mother for the past 30 years, he's made her life miserable. His alcoholism has made me miserable too. He ruined my 18th birthday cos he got drunk even though my mother and I both begged him not to. He couldn't even stay sober for one day - his only child's 18th birthday - and I'll never forgive him for that.

My dad is great. When I was in my early teens, we didn't get along well, but I think that was mostly my fault. Let's face it folks: teenage girls are selfish and silly most of the time. I talk from my own experience and from watching younger girls around me grow up. I really don't think it's all our fault: must be a result of chemicals and horomones ;)

Anyhoo, now that I am older and wiser, I fully appreciate my dad for what he is: a great man who cares for his family deeply, has stood by us think and thin, has provided for us in a job he doesn't really like without ever complaining much, being a wise advisor, and always providing for me the perfect balance of love and support without being overly nosey.

That's kinda how it is with me. He never blames himself. He usually blames me but sometimes he'll blame my mom. That's what the worst thing about my dad is.

That sounds like my dad. He hates his job and thinks he's failed in his life, but he goes so he can give my mom and I a good life. He's kinda hard on me about getting through school and getting good grades, etc., but my mom keeps reminding me it's just because he wants me to be more than he is.

My dad is like Archie Bunker...except he doesn't make mom bring him beers...he gets them himself. lol He can be nice every once in a while, but he's so critical and negative.

I love my dad more then my mom because were so much alike. He takes me fishing and to Husker games and he teaches me stuff like how to fly fish and how to drive a stick which was really hard and we also joke around alot he is so much fun to be around well when he isn't tired because then he gets cranky but other then that I love him the most but I do love my mom and I like to talk to her about women stuff and I like her to be around when I'm sick because she is a nurse but other then that I like to hang around my dad the most.

I love my dad to death. He can get pretty scary @ times and when that happens you just gotta stay out of his way but besides that he is amazing. I love him.

The funny thing is, my dad is terrific, easy going, and laid back while my mom, half of the time, is bossy, demanding, and totally gets on my nerves. However, I'm closer to my mom. It's strange. I do love my dad though, he's great... he's a fun guy.

My dad's okay. There are many aspects about him I don't like, but overall, he's not too bad. He can be a pain sometimes, but other times he can be pretty nifty. :happyface :happyface :happyface

me and my dad are tight...although when it comes to bad grades...lets just say I go to my mom..yep...but me and my dad never really fight..most of my friends are tight with there moms and argue with their dads, but it is the opposite for me, my dad spoils me rotten(so does my mom come to think bout it...), but its alright I dont mind..he takes me to the good malls which are further away from my house and will be like, "you know what, just get both pairs of shoes if you cant decide" Also I feel I have a lot more in common with my father

My dad's the greatest. When I was younger, we didn't get along very well, but now that I'm older we're really close. I'm a total daddy's girl.
