Anybody else hear that there has been some consideration to make some former sitcom hits into broadway musicals? My cousin is a stage hand in NYC and has worked on musicals like Saturday Night Fever and Charlie Brown, so he's pretty reputable. He told me that in April and I haven't heard anything since. I definitely remember that Happy Days and Cheers were considered. I forget what other ones, but I was just curious if anybody else heard anything?

I'm definitely going to try and get more info on this. But hey, if they can make a musical out of Dr. Suess, they can make one out of anything! lol
Very cute! Now about that drink in Boston... LOL ;) My treat!

I guess the thing is you have "One of those faces" that can look like several different people. Either way, at least you're being compared to cute, good looking people. Which you are, so at least that's good.
I wish I could down load a picture of myself so you could see why I put pictures of actor Jon Favreau up in my signature. I hate being told I look like a celebrity because 9 out of 10 times I don't look like that person at all.
However, after seeing the movies, "Made", "Very Bad Things" and "The Replacements", I can say with great confidence, most of the people who call me 'Favreau' are correct. ***Why couldn't they say Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise*** (Sigh)

Is that the Naughty Bebe Girl shirt? Woo! LOL I love that shirt!
I've got a little "I think you look like Bebe" groupie going on. LOL! Yes, Brian, I do have one of those "familiar faces." I've been told I look like everyone from Ginger Rogers (I look a lot like her with blonde hair... many similar facial features) to Bebe Neuwirth to Jane Krakowski to Bernadette Peters. Now, I look at all these people and go, "Do they even look remotely like the other?" But actually, Jane does look something like Ginger. They both have those baby faces, like me. LOL
But I know what you're saying... some of these people I get told I look like I just stare in awe going, "HOW do we look alike??" LOL Like Vanessa. All I see is similar hair color. LOL! Everyone sees something different anyhow. Whatever. I give up. *shrug*
I still wanna play Lilith if they make a musical of Cheers!!! I think I could make a plausible Diane too. Haha. She'd prolly be the soprano lead... I always get those parts. I want the belty Lilith part! I lied, I get some belty parts too... LOL. Usually just the soprano roles in operettas. In regular musical theatre I get the mezzo parts, or the comedic role, with the exception of Guenevere (sop 1). Eh, I can handle whatever they'd throw at me! I just want to be in a musical version of Cheers. LOL!!!

Here's an idea, if/when they hold auditions for Cheers, bring a blonde or brunette wig with you. People will tell you that you look like both Lilith and Diane and you could get double billing! LOL
