Fans think Season 15 is the worst
On the r/Supernatural (https://www.reddit.com/r/Supernatural/) subreddit, fans noted the drop-off for Season 15, particularly early on in the season. u/DryReputation9506 (https://www.reddit.com/r/Supernatural/comments/jqxaon/supernatural_season_15_serious_quality_decline/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) asked if they were the only one who noticed this in their thread after watching the first five seasons. "Maybe it's the giant jump in seasons but the shows quality has declined greatly," they observed. "The ghosts in 15x1 & 15x2 look almost comical? ... Also the quality of the extra actors is really poor."
While shows that go on for as long as "Supernatural" did will always have some hiccups along the way, it's especially disappointing when a show's final season or series finale is the one that drops the ball. Other fans were quick to agree but pointed out the worst of it is definitely at the start of Season 15.
"Yeah you're not alone, a lot of people had problems with the first 3 episodes of the season," u/FTWinchester (https://www.reddit.com/r/Supernatural/comments/jqxaon/comment/gbpzirq/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) offered in the top-voted comment. "Thankfully, some of the latter episodes this season deliver on the quality so there's that," they offered in recompense.
Other users were quick to parrot this sentiment.
