There were 58 9 Lives Cat Food commercials from 1969-1978 featuring Morris the Cat, who was voiced by John Erwin. Most of them began with a female voice saying "Morris! Din din" What was your favorite among all those commercials. My favorite was Morris typing a letter to 9 Lives.

My mother was a fan of Morris The Cat from the 9 Lives commercials because she thought Morris The Cat was really funny. I do remember seeing 9 Lives commercials where the lady said "Din-din Morris " and I thought it was very clever. I don't know who invented the 9 Lives commercials but whoever invented them must've had a nice idea to have a cat as a mascot for 9 Lives. My cat used to eat 9 Lives cat food and his favorite entree was the Super Supper entree but then he quit eating it because he disliked it. It's shocking that the commercials for 9 Lives Cat Food changed today but the original commercials are classics in pet food commercials
