Okay...firstly, it was not at all as bad as I THOUGHT it would be...at least there was no sex humor in the FOL one...

The ONLY thing I thought was funny though, was when they were stealing the blouse and Jo slapped Tootie, Tootie slapped Natalie and then Natalie slapped that old lady...:lol:

I think they totally over exaggeratted Natalie's attitude, and Tootie's....hyperness?? She seemed really HYPER there.

I find it odd that they had the girl who played Blair wearing a cross...because, yes, Lisa is a Christian and makes it known, but...Blair hated religion...I found it odd...I dunno...maybe it's just me...

Was it just me, or does anyone else think that Paul Vogt was TRYING to sound like Mrs. G and DREADFULLY FAILING?? I mean....wowness...and ya know...having Mrs. G look like she weighs a million tons really didn't help the episode..."Do you have this in a small?!" "This is a little roomy on me!" HELLO!!!! CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!lol....I dunno...

anyways...that's just my opinion so, trash it, agree with it...whatever floats your boat...

The whole point of the show was to make fun of The Facts of Life! Mrs. G Being fat was the point! Geeze! I do agree that Natalie's scrunched up thing and Tootie's jumping around was SOOOOO annoying! Natalie didn't sound like her at all!

Well I think that actor who played Natalie did a good job! I was laughing the whole way through!!!!!!!!!

Hi. Lizzie. I thought the Re-run show was okay. It was funny in some parts.

I LOVED IT!! Paul Vogt was so great and funny as Mrs. Garrett! I hope they do more FOL sketches. Its very funny.

I thought Paul Vogt did an AWESOME job as Mrs. G...he had me laughin the whole time cuz I think it did kinda sound like her...The whipped cream thang was the best lmao.

glad y'all were amused by Paul Vogt as Mrs. G...I found it odd...but..JMO...maybe I'm just too obsessed...

I think the Rerun Show was pretty darn mean. It's interesting that The Rerun Show, which is on NBC, is bashing one of it's network's own shows (FOL.) I was surprised that it stayed fairly close to the original plot of the episode. One thing that confused me was the setting. The girl's room was obviously their Eastland room, and it looked pretty accurate. The living room, however, looked vaguely like the 1st season living room, but I couldn't really tell. I think it was pretty rude to make fun of the actresses on such things as their weight or religion. Sometimes people probably forget that those actresses are people with feelings too. That's all I have to say for now.

My favorite part was when "Jo" took "Nat's" necklace and used it as a chinese star to knock "Blair's" tiarra off her head! :rotflmao:

You know, like others have said, I thought it was going to be horrible, but it was HILARIOUS.

If not a little mean-spirited, (I mean, it's SO easy to make fun of the obvious things like Blair being fat, Jo being a bit maucho, Mrs. Garrett having that high voice, Tootie's ever growing boobs), but I couldn't help but laughing my ass off.

It's pretty fun watching an episode that's you've seen times before being manically exagerrated. Like Jo bringing a gun into the store, or Tootie jumping up and down like she's needs Ritalin.

In the least, I don't think we should be offended or anything by it... nor even the actresses themselves today.

I bet you 100 percent that if Nancy McKeon just happend to glance at that show, she would of been laughing her A$$ off!! LOL

From what I've seen of it (1.5 episodes), I really like the Rerun Show.

And I just LOVED the FOL version on the other night. I just watched it a little bit ago, and I found it hilarious! Paul Vogt is dead on as Mrs. G. He was great as her in last week's DS spoof, and even better on the FOL spoof.

I thought him and the girl who did Tootie did the best job. Blair and Natalie were both pretty good but not great, but I don't think they did as good of a job as they could have spoofing Jo. But altogether, GREAT SHOW. :rotflmao:

Also, to whoever it was that said there was no sex humor in the FOL spoof....well I don't know how you could have missed it, but it was there. Unless you meant that there was no sex humor between Blair and Jo.

I'm not sure how anyone could explain it, if you're just not hearing it. But you know how Charlotte Rae has sometimes kind of a ....shaky voice? And how she can go from a level tone to a real high-pitched tone? I thought he did a really good job of imitating those aspects of her voice.

But, yeah, I can see you guys' point about the sex stuff especially when you compare it to the DS spoof and the Partridge Family spoof, which both had quite a bit.

The only part that really sounded like Mrs G whenever Paul Vogt said "Hi Gang". And I couldn't get over Jo, didn't really act like her. Natalie, I mean what a disapointment. And Tootie, OOOH!!!! I could scream if I see her jumping around like that with those big boobs again.:eek:

And Lizzie, your right. No one can make Mrs G sound the way she did but Charlotte.:)

Hey, Bootsy, if there was sex humor in the FOL spoof, then it totally went over my head. I think I was laughing too hard to notice.

I thought it was hilarious! I didn't like the first episode very well so I was a little worried about the FOL one. But I was pleasantly surprised to find myself laughing the whole time. The guy who did Mrs. G was the best part. He really did a great job. I want to see them do another FOL spoof just to see him play Mrs. G again.

I found it to be soooo funny!!! I can wait till next weeks re-run!!
