I just recently discovered this, but there are six episodes from season nine that are remakes of previous episodes. This is usually a sign that the series is running out of steam and the writers are having difficulty coming up with fresh story ideas. The remake episodes are:

The Case Of The Golden Girls- remake of The Case Of The Vagabond Vixen (mistakenly spelled Vagabond Virgin in the opening credits :lol:) from season 1.

The Case Of The Vanishing Victim- remake of The Case Of The Fugitive Nurse from season 1.

The Case Of The Sausalito Sunrise- remake of The Case Of The Moth Eaten Mink from season 1.

The Case Of The Fanciful Frail- remake of The Case Of The Footloose Doll from season 2.
