The Military service was held at Greatb Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. It was very dignified and patriotic. Beautiful weather. The service was exactly what Dave wanted so it was perfect! A lot of friends and family member s attended. I was given the American flag . I gave the flag to my son who has it on a shelf in his room. I have ordered a display case for it. All in all it was a wonderful experience which I know Dave would have approved. patriot:

Marlene, I'm glad to hear that the service was so well done. It sounds like it was the perfect tribute to Dave. I've never been to that cemetery but from your photos it looks very nice.
