I heard about his death a while back, but
I forgot what caused his death, until I read this post. I also wish he was still here with us.

Yeah it's sad. My great grandma had emphesema too, but she also had 2 or 3 other things, not just emphesema, she had a broken hip, asthma, and brochitus (I think) she would cough a lot. She didn't die until last year though. It is sad when people die and yes, I wish he were here with us sometimes, but sometimes his character on GG was annoying, sometimes it was not good, but sometimes it was very good.:( :(

I found that out right after I started watching the show (about 4 years ago.) I was sad because I think Herb Edelman was hilarious.

I'm really saddened by this thread. I never knew he passed away. My mother passed away last January and I like to think that she is having a really great time talking to people she watched on TV while on Earth. I'm sure she's finding the late Stan very interesting. (I love you, Mom)
