I'm working on a Three Stooges Special (w/ Woody Harrelson hosting) and i was wondering if anybody knows of any "Cheers" episodes where there might be Stooge references.

My roomate claims there is an entire episode with a running joke where Diane doesn't understand why the guys like the Stooges, but he is not always a reliable source of information.

The only 3 Stooges reference I can remember right now is at the beginning of "Coach in Love, part 2" where Diane comes acrossed the Stooges at 3 a.m. Diane says something like, "Aren't all the 8 year olds in bed by now". The next shot is in front of Sam's apartment building. He's flipping through the channels, finds the Stooges. He says, "Oh great, this is one where Curly gets his head in the vice", or something like that.

There is also a 3 Stooges Reference in the episode "What's up Doc?"

Sam hits on a Dr. Friend of Frasier and Lilith's and Sam is mad that she thinks that all he thinks about in his life is sex.

At the end Rebecca convinces him that he likes the Stooges and when he watches the Stooges he doesnt think of sex. Then Sam realizes this and is happy again and does a Stooges routine on Rebecca and then Rebecca slaps him on the nose and Sam bleeds.
