Show made its debut on Thursday, Sept 23, 1976 on ABC at 9pm

Show competed with NBC Best Sellers and Hawaii Five on CBS in that slot

The show's ranked #16 out of 61 shows after the first two episodes

By November, the show fell to 32nd ranked out of 58 shows but rebounded and was in the top 30 again at #27 in December

In December of 1976, the show was moved to 9:30pm on the same night and would remain in that slot for the rest of the season.

The show finished the 1st season ranked #26 which was more viewers than Alice#30, Maude#31, Rhoda#32 and Bob Newhart#37

In season 2 the show was moved to a new network CBS and aired on Saturday Night at 9:30pm on Sept 24, 19977. The new competition was Starky and Hutch on ABC and NBC movies.

The show was moved to CBS because ABC only wanted to offer the show 13 eps for the following season and Tony Randall wanted a full season. So CBS agreed to pick up the show for a full season to strengthen its comedy lineup on Saturday Night

The show was ranked #47 out of 65 show after the first airing on CBS and fell to #56 out of 68 shows after the 2nd episode.

The show remained in the 50's during November and December of 1977.

In January of 1978 the show was moved to 8:30pm on Jan 28, 1978

Final ranking for the 2nd season was #72 out of 104 shows

Dick Van Patten from Eight is Enough appeared in episode 11

Nedra Volz, :Adelaide" from Different Strokes appeared in ep 14

Dick Sargent from Bewitched appeared in ep 18
