I finally got Rewind this week in Memphis on WLMT 30.8. Not impressed at all. Picture has black bars on the sides. They have now added 3 hours of paid programming a day and yet they still do the horrendous credit crunch. They must be really poor. Not going to be watching this channel.

Paid Programming should not be happening on Rewind TV. They should have the 80’s and 90’s programming that is airring on Antenna TV in that place maybe even Johnny Carson Archie Bunkers Place The Jeffersons Barney Miller and Maude and Three’s Company/Three’s A Crowd. Too Close For Comfort and Alice, Welcome Back Kotter, One Day At A Time, Silver Spoons.

While Antenna TV airs 50’s and 60’s and the easy going shows of the 70’s.

That is a true shame, them adding paid programming to Rewind TV! Will Antenna TV be that far behind? Thankfully, I only watch Wings Weeknights on Rewind but am looking forward to them adding Just Shoot Me and Mad About You. I’d also like to see Veronica’s Closet come to Rewind as well. Other than that, I don’t know.

These paid programs are probably long versions of the junk they peddle on the regular ads on these channels. Ambulance-chasing attorneys, make up brands you'd never seen in Macy's, JJ or Namath selling Medicare, etc.

It amazes me people watch this junk for a half hour, but they must or the sellers wouldn't buy the time.

They moved Newsradio from the 10:00 slot for 227.

Will any shows be leaving or will the schedule still be the same?

The only change is that Designing Women will be moving back to Antenna TV. Everything else will be remaining the same.
