The Wikipedia episode list gives production numbers, but not dates. Putting the episodes in that order is a big change from network episode order.

In the 1980's there was a book published titled "The World According To Beaver", the book has a section which gives synopsis of all 234 episodes and it has the episodes in their production order.

Leave It To Beaver is one of those shows that I usually like to watch episodes in production order and not airdate order.

Here's just one example, the 6th season episode "The Clothing Drive" was the second episode produced for season 6 but it originally aired as the next to last episode of the season, followed by "Family Scrapbook" which was the final produced episode of the series.

Most stations played episodes in production order, until TV Land started the trend to network telecast order.

I did not know The World... had a list in production order--it starts on page 182.

There are other oddball things about network order, like Beaver getting the inspirational football player award when the football season had barely started. In production order that episode would have aired on November 29, not October 4 as it did on ABC in 1962.

Even odder: Beaver's Poem (which opened season 2 on ABC) was episode 36 produced, which would have placed it in season 1. In kind of a swap, Beaver Runs Away was episode 41, which should have placed it as episode 2 of season 2; instead, it was episode 37 of season 1.

Yes I was going to mention this also, kind of an odd swap there. Quite strange.
