Every July it's always a tradition for people to watch the Macy's 4th Of July Spectacular. But I noticed that it's gone downhill and changed it's image and I cannot figure it out? Is it because like the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade Macy's hopes that this event gets high ratings and they want to gain a fresh audience every year by adding more stuff to make it exciting? Because it used to be that people would watch it for the impressive fireworks display but now it's now turned into a 4th Of July concert and full of celebrity interviews that take up so much time and they should show more fireworks rather than singers and celebrity interviews. My mom saw part of this year's show and she was disappointed with it because it had way too much celebrity interviews and not enough fireworks. Like the Thanksgiving Day Parade I hope this isn't a sign that Macy's is starting to change direction on their holiday shows

I saw the Macy's Fireworks and to me, they were spectacular. The script writing was outstanding and should be nominated for an Emmy.
