I have only started watching this series closely the past couple years on MeTV. Prior to that my experience with the show was that it was the show my mother never missed when I was a pre teen...I was too young to really "get" the show. And later in my early 20s, when I'd see an occasional rerun, not really with enough continuity to identify with the plot.
And, I have the final two eps on VHS somewhere in storage, I guess I convinced myself at one point that by knowing the conclusion, that "relieved" me of any responsibility to watch the series in it's entirety.
Anyway, I've been watching on MeTV long enough now that I've seen the final 4th season, all in color, and I'm working my way through the initial season now.
And I never until last night realized that the brick-walled alley that is featured prominently in the intro of the latter years of the series, was from a dream sequence Kimble has repeatedly. To me that seems brilliant, because when you are running, little things like that haunt you. I give the producers a gold star for that.
I also never before saw the episodes where they got the graphics in the intro with him working as a bartender, backing up a truck, or landing face down in a swamp.
Having now seen all those, the graphics in the intro will finally have meaning.
And, I'm particularly enjoying all the guest stars the show features....pretty incredible all in it's own, looking back. Not sure my mom even got that enjoyment, not having the benefit of knowing which ones would rise to become relevant.
