In several episodes of Andy Griffith, Ron Howards brother played a roll as one of Opies friends. Can anyone remember what the name of that friend was?

That's right. Ron Howard's younger brother Clint played Leon, who was always? seen in a cowboy outfit and eating a PB&J sandwich.

Clint Howard went on to star in his own series, "Gentle Ben", along with Dennis Weaver, Beth Brickell and Rance Howard who is the father of CH and RH.

The series ran for 56 episodes from 1967 to 1969 and was about a young boy and his tame bear.
