In the 80's Sony designed it's first ever line of cd players stereos and cassette players specially designed for younger children called My First Sony and I remember buying one of these cassette players as a child but mine only worked for a minute because the button broke and my mom had to return it and so we got a regular cassette player that still works today. The My First Sony line was later expanded to include cd players and Walkman's and Discman's too and some My First Sony products included bonus free gifts of a story and tape set too. The music sounded amazing on a My First Sony stereo but this was a clever idea for Sony to market easy to use music players for younger children. I never had a My First Sony CD Player and Cassette Player. I did get a Panasonic blue 8-Track Player and a Panasonic red round radio for Christmas when I was a teen-ager.
