Who else is in their 'final stretch' of summer? I have to go to school two days this week and then I 'officially' start on Monday. Summer pretty much flew by and even though I missed school then, I'm not looking forward to it now. Does anyone else start school within the next ten days?

List of things to do before August 12:

Buy clothes for school

Buy shoes for school (we aren't allowed to wear sandals like I have now)

Buy school supplies

Figure out how to wake up with the sun and still be aware of the world around you

Answer 'Gatsby' essays

Read the other 440 pages of 'Moby'

Answer 'Moby' essay questions

Figure out which electives I wish to take and what my schedule will be

Prepare myself for homework and less time on the boards



Ugh, so much to do and so little time to do it in...

Me me me me, I am. I start school on the 13th. I haveta go to school tommorrow for Yearbook and Thursday for registration.

Stuff I need to do:

Buy some clothes and some supplies... thats like all.

BTW... you're just now doing your schedule?!?! We had to do ours in January! LOL

I still have until September 5th!!!!!!! *screams* :crying:

Well...I have to go for about an hour next Wednesday, but from then on it's full time...gawd.

Crap I have to do:

Learn how to go to bed earlier and wake up...earlier *twitches*

Get my hair trimmed...which I'm doing tomorrow

I have until September 3rd but band camp starts the 12th for 2 weeks. Sooo, yeah. you be the judge- no homework but hours of practice. heres what i have to do....

-do a lot more work on my novel
-finish two books and 3 essays for school
-go clothes shopping
-go dress shopping for homecoming
-go shoe shopping
-go antiquing
-go to the renaissance faire
-get a new purse that matches my grey skirt

I go back to school on the fourth of September.

Here is my list of things to do before school starts:
~ Attend tanning sessions (in order to get a good tan)
~ Change my hair to what it was a month ago: BLONDE! It's currently dirty blonde with highlights of blonde
~ Shop for school clothes
~ Check my eyes to see if I need contacts or not.
~ Work on myself
~ Get my schoolwork for the summer done

I start school on the 26th and I haven't done anything I need to do for school.

I don't start school until September 3rd. However, this week I have marching band pre-camp from 7 am - 12, next week is band camp, and the week after is post-camp. So my summer's pretty much over. I've given it up for boot camp.

Okay now I have a lot more to worry about for the first day... yesterday it was clothes only and now I have work to do!!! By the first day of school I have to sell atleast one ad for the yearbook and it's not like as easy as youd think. You have to call and make an appointment to speak with a manager and then you have to show up and talk to them and dress formal blah blah blah... Im not looking forward to it. We have to sell four by Sept. 15th to get an A. And then our other assignment for yearbook is to design a first day of school spread.. which means we have to take pictures on the first day of school and get quotes from people. I'm gonna look like such a freak taking pictures of people with a disposable camera on the first day of school!!!! LOL.. oh well mines gonna be awesome..... I hope.

I start college on August 19th. I only goes 3 days a week.

I did that once. It wasnt a huge deal though.
