Do you think the dutch doors in the kitchen add to the show? They do give the kitchen more space for some views.

Other than Mr. Ed, do any other shows use the dutch door for some of the episodes?

One of the later episodes had Jim repairing it, because the connection wasn't opening the top door. I'm sure Bud was the one who banged into the top door.

In the reunion movie the kitchen had been remodeled, and there was no door there. The only door was the other one--who needs two?
