Hello Larry stayed in the 8:30pm slot for the remainder of the season

In season 2, the show was moved to Wednesday nights at 9:30pm and competed with Charlie Angels on ABC and the CBS Monday Night Movie

This would be the last time slot move of the series and would remain until April of 1980

The show final ratings for season 2 was similar to season, in the 60's. The actual ranking has not been confirmed. The show was listed as the 51st ranked show as of April 16. 1980 but after that various newspapers only list the top 60 shows.
