The original Cosby Show home's interior looks more like a typical 2 flat building as a single family home. Was there something about the plots that change the interior of the Huxtable's interior?

While brainstorming for the show, Cosby wasn't exactly sure what direction to take it. Cliff was originally going to be a limousine driver instead of a doctor and Clair a plumber instead of a lawyer. But his wife suggested to change their occupations and make them more successful. So he did, but the house didn't change for the first episode. So the first ep went great so they changed the house.

and they also added Sondra too? or am i wrong...

for some reason in that episode i remember Cliff in the living room asking Claire why they have 4 kids? (humorously of course)

then after that she appeared...but then she also did not appear in the theme song? remember the one with them all getting out of the van and playing in the park? their is no sondra in site? why is that ? can anyone shed some light?:confused:

By the time they were done filming the opening theme, Sondra was not planned to be on the show.
