NBC's decision to allow viewers to choose tonight's ending is mostly just a media ploy, says David Bianculli. "I don't want to interact with my TV," he adds. "I just want to watch it, as passively as possible. If the creators of these shows can't decide on how an episode should be written, they shouldn't be writing them. And if networks force me to make choices as part of some bogus interactive exercise, the choice I'll make is to watch something else."
