I’d love to trade for THE LAST RESORT (1979), the 15 episode sitcom about college kids working in a hotel kitchen.

(Not the 2012 military thriller also called THE LAST RESORT)

It was created Gary David Goldberg who, like Woody Allen, had earlier work that was really funny.

The humor was like Animal House.

It starred Stephanie Faracy (who's had a long career) and Larry Breeding (who sadly died a tragic early death driving in to tape a Laverne and Shirley. He was smoking and a lit cigarette fell between his legs and when he grabbed for the cigarette, his car crashed into a wall.)

aired from: Sep 1979
to: Mar 1980
cancelled/ended 16 eps CBS (US) 30 min

Larry Breeding as Michael Lerner
Robert Costanzo as Murray
Stephanie Faracy as Gail Collins
John Fujioka as Kevin
Dorothy Konrad as Mrs. Trilling
Zane Lasky as Duane Kaminsky
Walter Olkewicz as Zach Comstock
Ray Underwood as Jeffrey Barron

I would love to see it. Gary David Goldberg was always great. I have Stephanie Faracy's final show, Charlie Lawrence on DVD. A very poorly written show, but she was actually pretty funny in it.
