Did you know that after the 1979-80 TV season, Angie actually had a higher ranking than Laverne and Shirley and was still cancelled? Angie final ranking was #39 and Laverne and Shirley was #42.


I guess since Laverne and Shirley was already a hit multiple seasons ABC felt it deserved another chance.

Interesting. I think they were still hoping the move to CA would jump ratings for Laverne and Shirley which never happened.

Now I know the real reason for the move to CA. For years that 79-80 season was overlooked and never knew it was a disaster season before how successful the first 3 were.
