The other TV site I post at has a book. The defunct site it spun off from I was at had a book (both below). Where’s The Sitcoms Online Guide To Why Good Times Is A Spin-off Of Maude?

A Sitcoms Online book about TV shows would be very amazing and since a lot of people come here to learn about TV shows it would sure be a hit and the book would be divided into sections like sitcoms dramas game shows variety shows and even feature a commercials section as well. If there really was a Sitcoms Online book being made all the people would love it especially my mom because she collects old TV books as a hobby. And the book would feature small bios about us members but I would be author of the commercials section of the book. I mean if Sitcom Online's first ever book debuts we would be famous like Leonard Maltin is with his famous movie book series

I never thought about writing a book. I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like that.

I thought about adding an "Is Good Times a spin-off of Maude?" sub-forum. There's probably 1,000 posts on the topic. The debate is never going to end.

Having that subforum would honestly be hilarious :rotflmao: That ongoing debate is one of my favorite things about this site.

It would be interesting to have a retrospective book documenting all the history and lore accumulated over the 23 years of Sitcoms Online.

I agree, great idea about the sub-forum on Good Times/spin-off debate.

First and foremost you farm out the work to the diehards, for example bandonurse on The Golden Girls and sm95fan on Archie Bunker’s Place. I’d put TVFactFan and TVLegend on the Good Times/Maude chapter, because that’d be highly entertaining. I can do the One Day At A Time chapter if we’re willing to ignore every character but one ;).

Unfortunately, The Facts of Life chapter may have to be delayed to the second book….

51 threads and over 3,094 posts on this topic. Total madness.

I have no memory of the
Isn't "Good Times" a spin off of "Mr. Ed"? (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=79086) thread.
