Besides Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Welcome Back, Kotter.....any suggestions? I enjoyed Boston Public, although that's definitely more of a 'serious' show.

California Dreams was created by some of the same people who created Saved by The Bell. I believe it's out of print on DVD though. Have you seen The Facts of Life?

Yeah I've seen Facts. Don't really consider that a school show since it didn't really take place in a classroom. I'm definitely looking for something more like "Head of the Class".

YEARS ago NBC had an extremely short-lived "classroom comedy" called THE WAVERLY WONDERS or something.

Also their was another short-lived show on CBS that was a "dramady" called HEADMASTER with Andy Griffith.

Not having luck finding the "classroom comedys" online unfortunately. Headmaster with Andy sounds very interesting. I understand the other shows have 'students' but what I like about Head of the Class is a lot of the shows take place in the actual classroom with their teacher. They talk about the subject they are learning. Boy Meets World had elements of that with the teacher but a lot of the scenes were not done in class. Square Pegs is probably the closest of those listed but not quite. I guess Head of the Class with their IHP team/competitions was pretty unique!

At first, I thought you were looking for a show with the laid-back California Vibe like Saved By The Bell. Maybe these lists will help:

Check out Student Bodies and Welcome Freshmen. Neither have an official release of any kind but some episodes can be found on YouTube.

What about the 1989 sitcom "Homeroom"??? It aired on ABC but was canceled almost 1/2 a season later.

Speaking of Breaker High (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Series/BreakerHigh):

Have you ever wake up early before school, turn on the TV, and find a show that felt like it shouldn’t exist?

Yeah… Breaker High (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breaker_High).

A high school… on a cruise ship… traveling the world… like that’s a normal educational experience.

In this video, we dive into one of the weirdest and most nostalgic teen shows of the 90s—from its “semester at sea” fantasy to its surprisingly stacked cast (including a very young Ryan Gosling).

If you grew up watching syndicated TV, UPN (http://www.vidiot.com/UPN/BH/) blocks, or shows like Sweet Valley High, this is going to hit you right in the nostalgia.

Nostalgic Couch Potato revisits old commercials, classic TV shows, nostalgic movies, and forgotten pop culture from the VHS and cable TV era. Through honest retrospectives and pop culture commentary, this channel looks back at media from the past and asks the simple question: does it still hold up, or are we just remembering it that way?

If you enjoy movie retrospectives, TV show reviews, lost media, vintage commercials, and thoughtful nostalgia content, consider subscribing for more.
