I remeber waking up at 6:00am (central) for an hour of "Soap" on Comedy Central. It was around 1998-2000 if my memory serves me right.

I know in 1994 it did air weeknights at 7:30 and 11:30pm it also did air thru 2001 on Comedy Central I remember taping the eps just in case Comedy Central pulled the plug. By the way, TV Land airings are really choppy.

Yeah.. Comedy Central is actually how I was turned onto Soap.. I remember it starting sometime in late '93. They showed it pretty religiously during '94, at one point they were showing the same episode up to three times a day. I believe it also had some weekend airings during this time, and then I also remember them doing a marathon of the whole series, so.. it was pretty hot on Comedy Central for a while.. After seeing all the episodes, I began to lose interest, and not tune in so much, but I remember seeing it, even up 'til '96.. After that point, I believe it was pushed to early airings on weekends, as others have pointed out.. I think the last time I remember catching it on CC was late 2000.. It's too bad, it's been a while, and I'm ready to see the whole thing again.. It looks like TVLand is only showing a limited amount of episodes, and they are edited rather poorly.. Does anyone know how much of the series Columbia House has available? This might be an option, but I'm not sure if I want to put out that kinda cash.. I love the show, but..

Columbia House has the whole series, unedited. They run 4.95 for the first one and 19.95 for the rest at about 4 shows per tape, 23 tapes in all. All said and done the whole series cost about 300.00 but I would be willing to sell mine for much less, as I have two of them. Just contact me at eric_hal@msn.com

Thanks for the info. Several Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes taped on CC in the mid-90's have promos for Soap. CC called it "the show your parents were afraid to let you watch."
