Why did Nick ditch I Love Lucy? Nick's ILL ratings were just as superior as shorter voiceovers if any voiceovers, skipped very few episodes, and a lot more. TV Land is great, even though they still show those annoying and irritating split screens. How could a television network like TV Land create a split screen?

I TOTALLY agree! I hate that stupid split screen!!! It is so irritating! Why can't they wait until the end theme and credits are over before they start showing info about the show coming up next? I mean if people wanted to know what the next show was about they could just do something like maybe watch the show!

I think (but I'm not exactly sure so don't take my word for it) that they do that stuff is because they get paid for that. If they didn't run those promos, they wouldn't get enough money to get the rights to the great shows they have. Besides, isn't it better than having no show at all? Remember, I am not sure if I'm right on this. If anybody has the real reason please post.

I think why they took it off because it aired on Nick-at-Nite for 7 years and they wanted new programs, and they aired the show over-and-over so I guess it was time for TV Land to take it. Anyways, I also agree I do not like split screen, It creates joy and entertainment to the closing credits, Voice-overs can also be overly annoying as well. I wish they would take a break from it. Maybe they might get good feedback if they did!

they are showing lucy on the nick at nite marathons. on sunday the 11th at 2:00 am it is coming on.

Thanks for some interesting feedback! I guess N@N could try to air 80s shows during school months and the real feel good classics during the summer. I love the Cosby Show a lot. The thing that concerns me is those split screens and voiceovers. I would still like to know when that petition to end those things goes to N@N and TV Land.
