I was rummaging through my parent's attic, where I keep my old stuff from my carfree days as a young TV addict, when I came across a box of old toys, but best of all I found my Hawkeye and BJ action figures!
They were made around 1981, the name of the manufacturer escapes me, I'm at my partent's house and I don't have any of my books, but I think they were made by LJN.

Although back then I thought it was silly the tried to make toys based on this show, today I think they're a cool collectible!

Maybe I'll try to track down the others they made. I know there is a rare Klinger figure in a dress ( I collect action figures, so I know a lot of wierd trivia on the subject!) and there were only a handful of characters produced.

I know I'm replying late, but I just became a M*A*S*H fan and was going through all the past posts.

Those action figures sound cool. They have a lot of TV show dolls. I bought a complete "Welcome Back, Kotter" doll set. They were actually from the 1970's. I also bought some newer less quality dolls. Like Ralph, Alice and Ed from "The Honeymooners." They should sell some new M*A*S*H action figures but sell them as collectibles. One of every character and each with a stand.

I just visited Ebay and they are selling some of the M*A*S*H toys. Some are in their packages and other aren't. There's Hawkeye, BJ, Potter, Margaret, Winchester, Father Mulcahy and two different Klingers.

I think it would be cool if they did make some 12'' M*A*S*H dolls for collectors. I certainly would love a Hawkeye doll.

I've seen some MASH plastic model kits on E-bay, & I've also seen MASH trading cards, and a MASH train set, by Tyco.
For those not into model railroading (please, don't call them "TOY TRAINS"!!!) Tyco is a company that stopped making model railroad items a while ago.

1981 was way past my time for M*A*S*H action figures and other toys but I have a son who would have been the right age for these, he was born in 1978, but I draw a blank on them... never saw these, apparently.

I always wish there had been a comic book adaptation, but of course that never happened.
