Young Sheldon is the only one on that list I watch (maybe not for much longer). I liked the Simpsons 20 or 30 years ago. The Conners without Roseanne is like The Hogans without Valerie.

I talk back to the TV when the ads for Ghosts come on saying how good it is (NOT!). A bunch of people is costumes standing around static in a room doing a table read of one-liners.

Here are Nielsen's top 100 prime time shows for 2023-24:

These are sitcoms whose names I recognize. I'm sure that I'm missing some:

#6 Young Sheldon (average 9.1 million viewers)
#11 Ghosts (8.2)
#37 The Neighborhood (5.7)
#38 Bob Hearts Abishola (5.3)
#54 The Connors (4.2)
#56 Abbott Elementary (4.0)
#60 Night Court (3.9)
#74 Extended Family (3.3)
#79 Not Dead Yet (3.2)
#86 Ghosts UK (2.9)

Young Sheldon's ranking means that Chuck Lorre has had the highest-rated network sitcom for at least 15 consecutive years (19 if Desperate Housewives is not considered a sitcom).

Abbott Elementary -- another show that is propped up by its awards, accolades, and both coast viewing. The problem is, hardly anyone else is watching.

The figures are higher than the actual ABC ratings, which are in the high 2 millions; I guess the 4 figure adds in all other viewing options.

The Conners has dropped precipitously since its 2018 debut-another example of Disney/ABC hanging onto losing shows.
