Temperatures Rising was one of my favorite TV series during its all-too-brief run back in 1972-74. I was particularly fond of Nancy Fox, whom I was convinced at the time was the prettiest and most adorable actress on television.

When James Whitmore passed away in 2009, my interest rekindled in the series (in general) and Ms. Fox (in particular). I decided to research her career, which was a bit difficult, as she had modest stardom for only a brief time. Thus, there wasn't much written on her. But I persevered and eventually found some information on her. Eventually, I began corresponding with her. That has continued to this day. Also, I met her on a trip to NY that I made in 2017.

Congratulations on the starred Wikipedia article. When I was researching the show after I added this board a few months ago, I was surprised and amazed to see the level of detail in the article. It's very well written and sourced. There aren't many sitcoms that ran for 3+ seasons that have that much information in their articles.

What station are your episodes from? Your episodes look like they are syndicated copies. The original, unedited episodes would probably be around 25 minutes.

Did it ever air on WWOR in the late 1980s/early 1990s? I remember they showed some short-lived sitcoms such as Please Don't Eat the Daisies when they were a superstation like WTBS and WGN.

Maybe the episodes could show up on a streaming service such as Crackle one of these days. I see it's a Sony/Screen Gems owned show.

The first season episodes (with James Whitmore) are indeed from syndication. Since I bought them from a private source, I'm not sure when the seller recorded them or when they aired. However, according to Wikipedia, the series aired on the USA Network from 1987 to 1988. Most likely, the seller recorded them during that time, or he got them from someone else who videotaped them.

The second season episodes (with Paul Lynde) look like they're 16mm prints projected on a wall and recorded with a video camera aimed at the wall.
