A lot of intresting stories I had of watching this show come from both networks. My question is which one is better? Also, why did N@n make The Cosby Show the top rated sitcom on N@N? I do not care what TV Land airs, but it would be nice if N@N aired I Love Lucy like it used to. The voiceovers were short most of the time, and there were no split screens. Plus, that stupid heart logo does not appear.

It really dosn't matter to me, but I think I liked it better on Nick-at-Nite, because they showed it more.

Since I have every episode on tape I don't watch Lucy on TV much anymore but I used to always watch it on N@N. I liked the old N@N programming when they showed I Love Lucy every night and during their block party summer marathons they showed Lucy every Tuesday all night long.

I noticed how N@N stopped showing Lucy and TVLand picked it up. I get TVLand so I still get to watch Lucy, but not everyone does. I don't think they should have taken the show off. It seems like Nick at Nite picked up all of the older shows from the 50s and 60s and N@N started showing only 70s and 80s stuff. I never understood why they did that. I usually just watch TVLand because I like the shows they air better.

I don't watch it anymore, but I always did on Nick. I'm sick of TV Land and their butchering. Plus they removed one too many of my fav shows.

Agreed to 100 percent. I will only watch lucy if TV Land puts it on at a more decent time and I always look to see what is after I Love Lucy. The reason I look foward on TV Land's schedule is because I want to make sure that a program like the Love Boat, The beverly Hillbillies, or the Munsters air. IF that happens, there will be a darn split screen, of course, interfering with the ending theme music and credits. I hope that petition for split screens and voiceovers goes to N@N and TV Land soon.

I agree also. I don't understand why they will show Leave it to Beaver 4 times a day and only show Lucy twice. I mean I am not trying to put down Beaver, it's my favorite show, but if they can show it 4 times a day, why can't they show Lucy 4 times a day? I mean come on, Lucy was voted the 3rd greatest tv show of all time!!! I don't want them to stop showing Beaver so much but why cant they get rid of stuff like Batman and all of the stupid shows they put on the air and replace them with good shows like Lucy? Their ratings would go up a lot. Just my two cents.

N@N because I actually received that channel and I loved watching it when I was a little younger. It was my mark for bedtime when it was over a couple years back. Now I dont get either N@N or TVland so I'm pretty miffed.

First off, I want to say I love I Love Lucy. It is the GREATEST show ever. I try to watch it at least every other day. Anyways, I think Nick at Nite has done a better job for several reasons. They aired I Love Lucy uncut during the first year it came on and the show got treated like it was the channel's most treasured gem. And no matter what, Nick at Nite always tried to include I Love Lucy in marathons, holidays, ect. On the other hand, I don't think TV Land has done that great of a job as Nick at Nite because it seems like I Love Lucy isn't the treasure "gem" of the network instead it seems like either Beaver, Andy, or Mary Tyler Moore. Also, Nick at Nite gave higher and a lot more praise than TV Land over I Love Lucy. Plus, Nick at Nite has aired Lucy's other shows and TV Land hasn't.

I recently bought the book, TV Land to Go, and the highest-rated
I Love Lucy episode ranked in at number #26, thus, getting defeated by The Dick Van Dyke Show, All in the Family, The Honeymooners, Mary Tyler Moore, Seinfeld, Leave it to Beaver, Newhart, M*A*S*H and the pilot episode of The Andy Griffith Show. I find that to be rigged because a Lucy episode should have been in the top 10, if not the top 3. I think TV Land doesn't have as much favor in I Love Lucy as Nick at Nite did.
