This is true regarding Elaine...but I guess the premise was that they "all" end up in jail...
I liked how previous characters were in the courtroom...a nice nod to the shows past
The storyline was a bit left field, I would have preferred the final episode being centred around Jerry's apartment and Monks...maybe where they all went their separate ways?...or it ended in Jerry's apartment sitting on the couch...and you are right Newman had the last laugh!

reminds me of the fresh prince finale where the character that the show was built around looks like crap at the end lol

I never saw the Fresh Prince finale...only watched a few episodes...by the end was Will Smith broke? I remember reading he burnt through all his money made from that show...

Show ended with him not having a place to live and no job while rest of the family was moving on to new and exciting things

I agree. The finale should have just been a regular episode and then they all split up and head home for the night. The show with no lessons didn't need a quasi- very special episode finale.

My thoughts also. The last episode(s) they were out of their element away from NYC...I would have preferred an ending similar to the subway episode where they all just went their separate ways or in Jerry's apartment (they all just went home for the night) and that was it...but it is what it is...
