It seems like a wide variety of ages. Well, I'm 18. UncleBilly 08-02-2002, 05:25 PM I'm 44. I was too young to remember the original showing of LITB but have been catching it in re-runs all my life and loving it each and every time I watch it. I finally completed my VHS colection of all the shows so now I can sit down any time any be entertained by the "Beave" BBF 08-02-2002, 07:36 PM WallyCleaverisaPimp, I'm 18, just graduated from High School this year and am about to start college. It just goes to show that a program like LITB is timeless and crosses the generation line. Wait until you are my age....and can't remember the tv show from last week!! When watching them now on TVL. I sometimes don't remember the entire episode, but usually parts of it will come back to me as I see them again after so many years. The car I am currently using as an AVATAR is the same year, make and model as what Ward drove during the final season of the show. With two exceptions. One, his car was lighter in color. Obviously, we'll never know the exact color, unless they decide to colorize a later episode someday featuring that particular car. The other difference is that this car HAS a back windshield, unlike Ward's where there is no rear windshield. You notice this during the opening credits of the 6th season, when you can see right into the car, and there is no glare present The Modfather 11-21-2003, 08:08 AM 14 BlueEyes1767 11-28-2003, 08:30 PM I am 48. I also tuned into the New Leave It To Beaver. It's great to be able to come here and chat with all of you about this great show. HaskellGirl 04-22-2004, 08:52 PM Yay! The old classic shows like Leave it to Beaver are so much better than anything on TV today. CanICallYouDad 01-23-2014, 12:36 PM When I see previews for what is offered on the networks I have to grab for my barf bag. The dialog is forced the characters plastic and repetitive and the humor is coarse. When I am doing part of my job and am in a patients room I have never heard one say TV is so much better than it used to be. Of course these are usually old folks. I think there will always be a place for message boards. There's something about them- they're simple, pure, easy to use, etc. I expect one day when the appeal of Facebook wears off a lot of people will migrate back to message boards.
