Tommorrow starts my town's stupid festival (AHHHHH) I hate it because it last too long. This year it is for 9 days (UGH) One year it was 2 weeks. It is not fun cause they drag it out, have one little event per day, & kids run it now because none of the adults want to fool w/ it. Do any of your towns have festivals?

Not quite like that one. Hey, that festival sounds kind of like the chit chat board, lol.

Yeah. we just had our too. I hate it. it's stupid! LOL. Thankfully it only lasted 3 days!

We don't have a big festival or anything like that.
There's always the Faslane Fair every July, to raise money for local charities. Then we have a big celebration on the pier on fireworks night.
Helensburgh has just finished celebrating it's bi-centenery. There was loads of stuff going on in the town for about a month (again, most of it took place on the pier) - not exactly a festival as such, but a celebration none the less.
Needless to say, anti-social little Mossopp didn't participate in any of it! :D

ya.. we have " croosroads Fest." Ugh its just stupid carni rides and crap I dont enjoy :rolleyes:
But it's worth it to play MUD VOLLEYBALL! GOOD FUN!

AHAHA! I LOVE IT! Except for mud volleyball, considering Amy asked me to play with you guys.....but I guess I'm not.

We just had the county fair, and it sucked. Nothing but pig judgingand who has the biggest fruit.

You guys have festivals? That's interesting... we never have anything of the sort...it's boring here......

we have a little fair the second week of july and a harvest fair in the fall. theres a little town festival that seriously the entire town goes to for the 4th of july (well, we are right outside philly so that one makes sense)
we also have this thing called christmas prelude which is one of those hokey small town celebration things.

Theres one goin on right now but it not in my boro its in liberty and I WON 4 FISH AT IT!!!!!! :) Its the Glassport centennial so there was a lot of festivals and on august there is the sons of italy parade,fireworks,and festival i spent like 100 dollars on every fair and festival in port vue liberty and glassport

We always have our county fair in the middle of July. I haven't been for several years because I don't like waiting in traffic for a long time just to be bored when I finally get in. But I always watch the parade because they have it on main street and I can walk there because I only live about two blocks away from main street.

There was the county fair two weeks ago. I didnt go though because I wasnt home. It's really dumb unless you're a farm animal person and don't care to risk your life on those rides. Sorry but you couldn't pay me to ride those rickity screw and nail rides that aren't secured to the ground at all. An accident waiting to happen.

Oh yeah you'd also like our fair if you enjoy the smell of animal ****, like eating unsanitary food, and love to walk around in sweltering heat.

We always have a County Fair. Thsi year it is August 11-17.
