Only two dogs in all my 60 years and that was as a kid, nobody in our family is/was really a dog person , but we liked the couple we had but loved the cats more always ! :)

Had cats when my boys were young with my first Hubby and some outdoor stray/ferals we fed and took care of ! :)

My Hubby now isn't a big fan of cats , says he's allergic! :p But not sure if that is true or not, :confused:likes dogs better but his true pet love of choice is birds , so he got me into keeping birds which I love now !:) We have and have had Zebra finches, parakeets and canaries ! :)And well as much as I'd love to have cats it wouldn't be a good mix with the birds ( Sylvester and Tweedy scenario ) ! :eek:

The cute guy in Fish played one of the foster kids . You know the story right ? Fish retired and he and his wife became foster parents to five kids ! Lenny who ironically was named Mike in the show was supposed to be about 16 or 17 , the oldest kid of the 5 , but I looked up his biography, he was born in 1955 , so Fish was from 1977 - 1978 he would have been 22, 23 than ! It was a bit of a stretch , but like Lem he looked young for his age , Lem usually always played younger than his real age too ! :)

Yes!! Willis was in it, younger / pre Willis! Such an adorable little boy!:) Also that really funny guy that I love (not in a crush way, but because he is really funny) Barry Gordon , he played the accountant in Archie Bunker's place and the love interest of Archie's niece . In Fish he was a social worker ! And Archie's niece (actress Denise Williams) played one of the five kids ! ;)

It didn't hurt that the HOTTY Mike ( Len Bari) was on Fish that made me decide the other day it was a really good, funny, cute show:) ( Funny I didn't watch this first run? I wonder why)? Anyway i think because it was more "Homie" ! It showed Fish at home with his wife and five (Foster) kids ! I guess I could relate better to this than a show like Barney Miller that was always at a Police station , just men and nobody I crushed on , to me it was like an "Old people show" :p My Mom and Dad loved it! Maybe that is why I never really bothered with Fish ( which i should have) I thought it would be on the lines of Barney Miller , not a funny, sweet "homie" type show like it was ! :)

Anyway, glad I caught a lot of the marathon on Sunday! And being it was such a short lived program it wasn't on the two days, so Saturday they played 'Bridget loves Bernie" another short lived show I LOVE!!! Even though I have the complete DVD set I watched as much as I could on Saturday ! :)

I was watching The Odd couple today . IDK if it was a coincidence or ODAAT copied off of them? In "Ave Romano" when Max was making Beef Wellington and Mark ruined it ! Almost the same thing happened on the Odd couple ! Felix was making Beef Wellington and Oscar was supposed to be watching it cause Felix had to go out for a short while and Oscar didn't pay attention and the Beef Wellington burned up! :eek:

The concert went almost 6 hours, available in full in various places. CBS did an hour highlights package (40-45 minutes I guess if you take out the commercials). I watched that. Wolf got included in that doing Hot For Teacher.

I got my movie " Jeremy" in the mail the other day and watched it! Len Bari was in it a lot ! Played Jeremy's best friend , which was kind of strange casting because Robbie Benson played a nerd who wore really thick glasses and played the cello in the school band ! But than Len wasn't as tough guy NY Italian as in Fish, but still on that line ! ;)

Anyway , good romantic movie, kinda sad ! Brought back memories of the early 70's and I hadn't seen Glynnis O'Connor in years! ;)

I was watching The Odd couple today . IDK if it was a coincidence or ODAAT copied off of them? In "Ave Romano" when Max was making Beef Wellington and Mark ruined it ! Almost the same thing happened on the Odd couple ! Felix was making Beef Wellington and Oscar was supposed to be watching it cause Felix had to go out for a short while and Oscar didn't pay attention and the Beef Wellington burned up! :eek:
