A popular fan theory reveals that Jerry Seinfeld's apartment can't exist in real life, which is largely due to the hallway and kitchen designs.

Interesting theory, thanks for sharing...
I just saw an episode from season 1 the other night, and noticed something about Jerry's
apartment I had never noticed before...the episode was "The Stake Out"
When Jerry comes home and his parents are reading in bed on his fold out the camera pans for a broader view of the living area and just inside the hallway before Jerry's bathroom on the right is a door! I never noticed this before...was this meant to be a closet?

Jerry and Kramer's appartments could not both have had street views. Also whats with Jerrys window screens comming and going?

I've watched a few season 1 episodes over the last week and the interior and layout of Jerry's apartment changed considerably to what we ended up becoming used to as the series continued...

In season 1 just above Jerry's computer desk where the window is there was more window panels (glass) as though it was designed for more sunlight...

And yes, both Jerry and Kramer's apartments could not both had street views or the same street views as alluded to in the show...
