vienna waits 08-01-2002, 12:45 PM Soo lets talk about ketchup. Do you prefer ketchup or catsup? Whats your favorite brand? Is green ketchup gross? What do you put ketchup on?
Heres my thoughts.. I prefer ketchup. My fav brand is Heinz, green ketchup is WRONG and I like ketchup on my french fries and fish sticks.:p :p :p
as you can see im bored. no one is posting.

Excuse me, fish sticks????? I think you got it all wrong. Tartar sauce was made for fish sticks thank ya very much. ;)

Ive always preferred the plain old red. And I put it on onion rings, fries, chicken sandwiches, and yes, fish sticks!
Sean Snow 08-01-2002, 01:38 PM I like saying ketchup more then catsup..Catsup just sounds..wrong. Like cat soup. :eek: I usually use Heinz ketcup lol and I don't have a problem with green ketchup. I put it on chicken, fries, hotdogs, corndogs, and other stuff.

I'd prefer Ketchup... My favourite bran is HEINZ and IMO, green/purple ketchup is uhh, no comment.
Mr. Shy Guy 08-01-2002, 01:44 PM Catsup does sound really weird. I thought it was something else when I first heard of it. I like Hunts Ketchup myself, I don't care about Green and Purple Ketchup, and I put it on French Fries, Chicken items, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Meat Loaf, etc.

DJM77 08-01-2002, 08:30 PM I prefer Heinz ketchup. I basically only put ketchup on my hamburgers and french fries. I have an uncle who puts ketchup on almost everything he eats. He even puts it on his lima beans!

Anyway, yeah, ketchup is better. I just like it on my fries and burgers and stuff... umm green ketchup is cool but really scary....

Maybe its just me? I'm a really picky eater, but the two just taste different to me. I must admit that I haven't tried the purple ketchup, but the color alone would probably freak me out.

I DO TOO! i hattttte tomatos but luv pasta/pizza sauce and ketchup
I just bought some Heinz Ketchup in the new upside down squeeze bottle.
Now I never have to struggle to get the last bit out of the bottle.

Blah. I hate my metabolism. If I haven't eaten all day (Like I do while I'm at school) I come home like at 4 and eat my first meal of the day and it feels like I ate 5 lbs of food.
I hate it when people say catsup. I used to work at Mcdonalds, and when ever someone would say " I'll take some catsup", to my asking "Would you like some ketchup". I would have to refain myself form screaming " It's Ketchup, Ketchup not catsup". By the way I could taste the difference between the green and red ketchup. I think the green has a little different texture, but I like mustard best anyways.

I'm not as huge on ketchup as I was before, I just slap mayonnaise on burgers and all that. I could never figure out how anyone could put on hot dogs. Sometimes you just GOTTAGOTTAGOTTA have it on fries.
Anyone like that zesty sauce on Burger King onion rings? My whole SUPPING experience is ruined if they run out of it there.

Gross stuff....Off topic, but I had this science teacher in sixth grade who always talked about ketchup, but he would always say "CATS-UP." It bugged the hell out of me! I am the same way. Anyways, I call it ketchup, i like Heinz the best. I eat it on burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs.
Moonlight Lady 10-23-2002, 11:18 AM I like good old fashioned Heinz red Ketchup. I put it on hamburgers and meatloaf, sometimes french fries, I used to put it on scrambled eggs, but they taste better with salsa or a little pepper.
I prefer ketchup...RED. Green is a DISGUSTING color for ketchup! Just a funny story though...Green ketchup had just come out my senior year in high school and our school colors are green and white...well the people in the cafeteria thought it would be neat if they started using green ketchup for the french fries...eeww! Well, it didn't last long because the only people who weren't totally grossed out by the thought of green ketchup were a group of Junior guys (complete idiots). They smeared it all over their faces and got it all over the floor and the table...it was sick. The funny thing is that the stuff has so much coloring in it, it stained their faces. So when they washed it off, the guys had huge green patches or little green mustaches, and green lips. It was too funny, and they were actually embarrased. So, the next day, the green ketchup was gone for good.
