You are indeed correct! From memory, I think the older actor who played the so-called bank guard was named Charles Thompson. Bert Mustin played one of the old town folk whose character's name escapes me. But Asa Breeney (guard) was not it. Originally posted by lukes42:

You are correct- Asa Breeney was the bank guard's name. Burt Mustin played a townsperson with several names. the only one that comes immediately to mind is Jud, I think the last name was Fletcher. In a later, color episode, I think the one where Howard Sprague gets blackballed for membership into the lodge, Andy slipped up and referred to him by his real name, "Burt".
