Rhoda's Wedding - Looking back at that episode now and it was horrible and corny. They were not compatible and the writers came to their senses and not shoehorning that relationship any longer and ended it.
Julie and Max Horvath - One Day At A Time. Hello that was so far fetched come home from a trip to announce she is getting married and end up marrying the best man. I did not think they were that compatible as a couple.
Ann and Sam Royer - One Day At A Time. Another far fetched plot. Marrying your daughter's father-in-law. Then to boot she will not take her new married name but kept the maiden name. That is, unfortunately, Norman Lear's liberal slant.
Philip and Janet - Three's Company. Should have been Jack and Janet's wedding. If you were to see the episode when Janet's dance instructor made sexual advances at her and only to find out that Jack was right. That episode was powerful for it showed a deep bond between Jack and Janet and it was a tearjerker.
