I recently watched this episode from season 4 again, and I think the actress who portrayed the teenaged Eunice(Heather Kerr) really deserves some praise for her characterization.
She was in the unenviable task of playing a character created and formed by Carol Burnett after all, and I think the way she gets Eunice's various nuances down almost exactly as Carol did is simply amazing!
She did seem to emphasize Eunice's overly-dramatic vocalizations, almost to an annoying degree. But if you think about it, teenagers ARE overly-dramatic sometimes and I can definitely see Eunice being that way as a teenager.
She must have studied Carol's portrayal of Eunice very diligently.
