If you were a teenage girl in the 90's you probably used Richard Caruso Haircare products a lot then you probably remember commercials for these products. Richard Caruso "No relation to actor David Caruso" was a successful Hollywood hairstylist who then made his fortune selling haircare products and becoming a success around the world. His first ever products were hair dryers and made him a huge star in the world but what Richard Caruso's best selling haircare product was the Richard Caruso Hairsetter which accompanied by a sassy commercial originated the moniker "Caruso Curls" referring to the fabulous curls the hairsetter made. A huge bestseller for Christmas 1994 this was the start of new trends in haircare. I remember buying this for my mom for Christmas when it came out and Mom and I were impressed with the curls it made to our hair and my hair was so fabulous with Caruso Curls too. Although no longer on the market these commercials are a great piece of nostalgia to learn about the 90's hairstyles

I remember when I first bought the Richard Caruso Hairsetter for my mom for Christmas when it first debuted because we saw the commercial many times and when we bought it Mom and I tried it out and the way it did our curls was amazing and we used that hairsetter every day and Mom still has it today and when you see these commercials you'll be shocked at how hairstyles changed during that time. As for Richard Caruso himself I don't know if he's still making haircare products today but this was the second product that made him famous
